The Iowa National Bar Association (INBA) is the largest association of African-American attorneys, judges, professors, and deans in Iowa.  INBA serves as a network of communication and provides support for its members.  INBA Members stay informed and connected through a listserv; an email distribution list; meetings; and this website.  

The Iowa National Bar Association is an affiliate organization to the National Bar Association, the largest national network of African-American attorneys, deans, professors, and judges.  The National Bar Association was founded in 1925 in Des Moines.  INBA members are encouraged to join the NBA and to represent the INBA on NBA and other organizational committees.

Monthly Meetings

The INBA meets the second Thursday of each month at noon. Each meeting typically lasts an hour. Meetings are currently being held virtually in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
