The Monumental Journey is a statue that sits in Hansen Triangle Park at Grand and Second Ave in Des Moines, Iowa. It is the work of Chicago based artist Kerry James Marshall. Kerry James Marshall is the winner of the “Genius Grant” from the MacArthur Foundation.
